BerryGroup is one of the largest blueberry growers in Poland. It is a member of the Polish Berry group. As the growing production required more labour and manpower, the client decided to invest in a sorting and packing line.
The main obstacle was the limited space in the packhouse, which had to be adapted to fit our solution. The client packs 50 tonnes of blueberries daily, so the machines had to be fast, accurate, and reliable.
Within the framework of this project, we delivered equipment for cleaning blueberry fruit, machines for softness and colour sorting, a packing machine, and a traysealer for automatic closing of packages with film, and a labelling system. The entire line enables delivery of a finished product that meets all quality standards and conforms to market trends.
Thanks to our solution, the client increased its capacity to 2.5 t per hour of a product ready for packing. It is able to meet all quality standards and conform to trends in blueberry packing.
