Infeed conveyor

The infeed conveyor is the first element of the line and the initial stage of the automated packing process. It features a wide fruit transport belt and adjustable height, allowing it to be matched to the level of the sorter.
We design and deliver lines for automatic blueberry packing into packaging supplied to retail chains. Lines tailored to the investor’s needs provide precise fruit sorting, accurate weighing, and high packing process efficiency. At the same time, they are very gentle on the fruit and reliable. High blueberry quality, on-time delivery, and order consistency — that is exactly what retail chains expect.

Blueberry lines tailored to your needs
We don't work from templates. We create personalized blueberry packing lines tailored to the specific packhouse infrastructure, the investor's needs, and their development plans.
Proprietary machines and systems
We design and manufacture many of the machines in our offer. Thus, the flexibility also allows us to integrate existing line elements with new equipment.
Weighing precision
Our lines use the G3 Evolution weigher the fastest and most accurate linear weigher. With the G3, you will reduce costly overwieghing to a minimum and increase your margins.
Precise sorting
The line can be equipped with the MXM BN.2 optical sorter, enabling precise and fast sorting of fruit by color, softness, and size. With it, only fruit meeting retail chain requirements will end up in punnets.
Efficient packaging sealing and labelling
Packaging containing fruit must be sealed and labelled. We offer high-capacity labellers and traysealers that ensure continuity of the packing process.
Care for fruit quality
Minimal drops and silicone paddings ensure that blueberries retain their bloom and firmness during automated packing.

Here comes an example layout of blueberry punnet line:

The infeed conveyor is the first element of the line and the initial stage of the automated packing process. It features a wide fruit transport belt and adjustable height, allowing it to be matched to the level of the sorter.

It is the initial stage of sorting and is essential for machine-harvested fruit. A powerful airstream removes leaves, stems, and other debris collected by the harvester in the field.

This optical sorter is equipped with two 2K cameras, enabling precise assessment of each fruit in terms of size, ripeness, and softness. It achieves a capacity of up to 3 tons per hour, while its compact design means it takes up little space in the packhouse.

A conveyor designed for manual sorting. Depending on the client’s needs, it can be used in the line as a complement following the mechanical sorter.

A conveyor that carries fruit up to the weigher. It can be positioned perpendicular to the inspection table, which significantly simplifies line layout in the packhouse. It can operate at speeds of up to 3 tons/h while remaining very gentle on the fruit.

A blueberry packing machine combining high packing accuracy (down to 1 fruit per punnet) with high throughput. The G3 is available in various weight configurations and can pack fruit into different types of packaging.

Transfers punnets filled with fruit to the next stage of the packing process. It allows easy height adjustment, effectively connecting the weigher index conveyor with the remaining elements of the line.

We offer various shapes and sizes of packaging transport conveyors, allowing the line to fit within the packhouse space. Additionally, the conveyors can be equipped with a stand for manually applying plastic lids.

An intelligent traysealer packaging sealer closes packaging with heat-shrink film. It can work with various punnet formats, and the technologies used minimise the risk of downtime.

A device for labelling sealed packaging. The labeller is available in single- or double-head configurations.

The final element of the blueberry line. At the collection table, fruit packaging is transferred into larger containers for dispatch to points of sale.
How does servicing and spare parts access work?
Milbor PMC has a team of experienced service technicians available around the clock, including during the season. Fast response to breakdowns is made possible by our own spare parts warehouse located in central Poland.
Can the line be tailored to my packhouse?
Yes, each line is designed individually with the client's needs in mind. During the concept stage, we take into account the available space so that the system fits perfectly with the conditions of the packhouse.
How long does it take to implement an automatic blueberry packing line?
The standard lead time, from contract signing to line delivery, is up to 16 weeks. It may however vary depending on the complexity of the project, the size of the installation, and the technologies used.
Why choose Milbor PMC?
Since 2013, we have specialised in fresh fruit packing automation. We have already completed nearly 300 projects, supporting producers and packing companies across Europe and Morocco. Our expertise, particularly in blueberry growing, allows us to accurately respond to client needs and deliver optimal solutions.
Do you offer training for employees?
Yes, as part of the line commissioning, we provide training for packhouse staff covering the operation of all equipment included in the system.
