The infeed conveyor is the first element of the line and the starting point of the automated packing process. Its key features are a wide belt for transporting fruit and adjustable height to match the level required by the sorter.

Various fruit species are grown at the Campo d'Oro farm. Blueberries have been planted there since 2010, and today the plantation covers around 200 ha, making it one of the largest in Romania. The company is part of the Ingleby Farms group.
One of our client's buyers required loose fruit, sorted by 14 mm caliber. Since sorting in the field significantly increased harvest costs, the decision was made to move the process to the packhouse.
Our engineers designed and implemented a line consisting of an inspection table, a hole calibrator, and 2 bulk packing units. The line has a capacity of up to 3 tons per hour (approx. 1.5 tons/hour per bulk weigher).
Thanks to our solution, Campo d'Oro was able to meet its buyer's requirements, strengthening its competitive position. Importantly, implementing the new solution had no negative impact on harvest efficiency.

Our proprietary sorter uses 2 2K cameras, enabling precise analysis of each fruit for size, ripeness, and softness. It can operate at speeds of up to 3 tons/h and takes up little space in the packhouse.

An optional element of the line is a calibrator that allows selection of the largest fruit. This gives the investor the ability to select premium-class blueberries.

The conveyor splits the fruit stream into two directions, allowing two packing machines to be fed simultaneously and streamlining the entire process.

The box filler packs blueberries into larger packaging/cartons. The device is characterized by high weighing accuracy, while also being very gentle on the fruit.
