Infeed conveyor

The infeed conveyor opens the line and marks the start of the automated packing process. Its wide transport belt moves fruit smoothly, while adjustable height settings allow precise alignment with the sorter.
We design and deliver blueberry packing lines integrated with the machines you already have in your packhouse. Do you already have a sorting line and need an efficient way to pack single-unit packaging? Do you want to improve your grader’s performance through pre-sorting? Are you looking for a solution to pack new punnet formats? Or has one machine in your line become a bottleneck limiting the rest? We work with equipment from various suppliers — we know the entire process and the dependencies between individual machines. You get a single point of contact, measurable financial benefits from working with new equipment, and fewer things to manage.

Custom-built blueberry line
We don't work from templates. Every line is tailored to the specific packhouse infrastructure, the investor's needs, and their development plans — not to a ready-made catalogue.
Maximum line performance in your existing packhouse
Good line integration means operating at full capacity. We select machines so that their performance doesn't limit each other, enabling fast packing without losses.
Production parameter optimisation
We analyse needs, plan, and implement solutions that measurably reduce labour costs and losses from overweighing. You get a single point of contact with the contractor, concrete results, and better financial performance than in previous seasons.
Compatibility with various manufacturers
Our machines work with equipment from various suppliers. Since 2013 we have been integrating blueberry lines and building our own conveyors — this allows us to get more out of an existing line without replacing everything at once.
Care for every fruit
We integrate machines in a way that minimises potential fruit damage and overweighing losses. Because it is fruit quality that determines your profitd and customers' trust.
Practitioners in action since 2013
Our team has completed nearly 300 projects across Europe and Africa. We also bring grower experience, which means we understand the specifics of the industry well.

Here is an example layout of an existing line to which we added our MXM BN.2 optical sorter.

The infeed conveyor opens the line and marks the start of the automated packing process. Its wide transport belt moves fruit smoothly, while adjustable height settings allow precise alignment with the sorter.

This optical sorter is equipped with two 2K cameras, enabling precise assessment of each fruit by size, ripeness, and softness. With a capacity of up to 3 tons per hour, it works effectively as a pre-sorting stage ahead of grading.

A machine that classifies fruit into different categories. With a grader in your line, you can sort blueberries into multiple fractions and supply different products to different buyers.

A blueberry packing machine that combines high weighing accuracy — down to 1 fruit per punnet — with strong throughput. The G3 is available in multiple weight configurations and handles a range of packaging types.

Transfers filled punnets to the next stage of the packing process. Its easy height adjustment allows it to connect the weigher index seamlessly with the remaining elements of the line.

We offer transport conveyors in a range of shapes and sizes, allowing the line to fit within the available packhouse space. The conveyors can also be equipped with a stand for manually applying plastic lids.

An intelligent traysealer seals packaging with heat-shrink film. It accommodates various punnet formats, and the technologies built into the machine keep the risk of downtime to a minimum.

A device for labelling sealed packaging. The labeller is available in single- or double-head configurations.

The final element of the blueberry line. At the collection table, fruit packaging is transferred into larger containers ready for dispatch to points of sale.
What does Milbor PMC's project-based approach mean?
We treat every integration as a project. For us, that means defined procedures and clear individual accountability. This gives the client visibility at every stage, a single point of contact with the integrator, and confidence in a measurable outcome.
What does servicing and spare parts access look like?
Milbor PMC's service operates year-round — without interruption, including mid-season. Response to breakdowns is fast, backed by our own team of experienced technicians and an in-house spare parts warehouse.
How long does integration take?
From contract signing to line delivery — typically up to 16 weeks. The timeline may vary depending on the scale of the installation and the equipment selected. Before that, we work with the client to analyse their existing infrastructure and the challenges they face, then propose solutions within the scope of the integration.
Why choose Milbor PMC?
Since 2013, we have specialised in fresh fruit packing automation. We have completed nearly 300 projects across Europe and Morocco, the majority of them in blueberry packing. This focus allows us to accurately assess what will work best in any given packhouse.
Do you offer training for employees?
Yes. Packhouse staff training is part of the line commissioning following integration. We show operators how the new machine works and how it fits within the rest of the equipment in the line.
