Konary Group

Konary Group has many years of experience in sorting and packing apples; however, entering the blueberry market required entirely new skills and expertise. That is why the Group’s management decided to cooperate with specialists in blueberry packing – Milbor PMC. Our task was to create a line that would flexibly respond to the needs of the blueberry market, make the fruit packing process independent of workforce availability, and also be modular and compatible with other machines that may be integrated into it in the future.

In 2022, we delivered to Konary Group a complete blueberry packing line, equipped with a blueberry sorter, a 10-head weigher for blueberry packing, a labelling machine, conveyors, and an automatic sealing machine. The company purchased some machines from us and leased others. In 2024, Konary Group purchased the leased traysealer-type sealing machine, on which it packs not only blueberries but also pears. At later stages of the line’s operation, the investor replaced sorting machines, using competitors’ equipment, which remains compatible with the packing line designed by Milbor PMC.

The delivered line met the company’s needs identified at the beginning of the investment. The client had extensive experience in fruit cultivation and sales; however, they required substantive support in the field of blueberry packing. Thanks to Milbor PMC’s flexible approach — both in terms of selecting line components and financing options — Konary Group was able to quickly become an important player in the blueberry sector and plan further development of this segment within its offer. Our expert support enabled the client to minimise mistakes commonly made at the early stages of such investments. Moreover, the high throughput of the line and its compatibility with other equipment meant that Konary Group was able to double its blueberry sales year-on-year and expand imports of this product.

This is already the fourth year of our cooperation with Milbor PMC. Their knowledge and experience allowed our company to smoothly enter the sales of a new and very promising product, thereby diversifying Konary Group’s offering. The blueberry packing line designed by Milbor PMC is compatible with various sorters, which allows us to optimise the packing process. The G2 weigher operates very accurately, quickly, and virtually without downtime, setting the pace for the entire line. I appreciate the fast service response and the flexible approach of Milbor PMC. As an example, before this season we replaced the sealing tool in the traysealer with a model that allows sealing buckets. This proved to be a perfect decision, as in 2025 retail chains reported strong demand for blueberries in precisely this type of packaging.
