SL4 traysealer

The SL4 traysealer makes it possible to seal trays with containers filled with soft fruit with film on the top.

Description:

The SL4 traysealer makes it possible to seal trays with containers filled with soft fruit with film on the top. The machine allows the topseal shrink film to be bonded to the container, preventing spillage of packaged fruit and giving the packaging an attractive and hygienic appearance. The SL4 model is designed for customers with medium volumes of products to be packaged.

The operating capacity of the SL4 unit is 15-17 cycles per minute. The technology used makes the traysealer perfectly suitable for producers of fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as ready-made meals.

The control machine is an advanced line control system based on a Siemens PLC. It makes it possible to manage the entire line from a single location using an operator panel (HMI) that has access to the diagnostics and status of each line component and continuously displays the production progress. The control machine displays the causes of stops, faults and errors, and is responsible for controlling, navigating and monitoring the machine workflow, thus saving the operators’ time.
